A$580.00

Build the complete height safety competency with our 2-Day Work Safely at Heights & Participate in a Rescue Operation package, combining RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights and PUASAR022 – Participate in a Rescue Operation into one streamlined booking. Delivered by RISE Academy (RTO 91022).

Location

This nationally recognised combined course is delivered as 2 full-day workshops, from 8am to 4:30pm each day, at our bespoke, purpose-built training centre in Silverwater, NSW, featuring a range of realistic industry training environments designed to replicate the challenges encountered in the field.

Day 1 – RIIWHS204E: Work Safely at Heights
Gain the skills and knowledge required to work safely at height. Participants will gain practical experience using a variety of height access systems and structures, including:

  • Sheeted and tiled roof structures with portable ladders

  • Telecommunications tower

  • Entertainment rigging truss

  • Layher scaffolding systems

  • Permanent access ladders and walkways on a commercial building

Day 2 – PUASAR022: Participate in a Rescue Operation
Build on your Day 1 foundation with the skills and knowledge required to participate as a member of a rescue team in a height rescue scenario. Participants will learn how to recognise, plan and respond to a suspended worker emergency, working under supervision as part of a coordinated rescue team using the same realistic structures and access systems from Day 1.

Please note: If this competency is obtained for utilisation within the fire sector, the pre-requisite HTLAID011 Provide First Aid applies.

Why Book the Package?

Rather than booking these courses separately, this package lets you complete both units back-to-back, minimising time away from work and ensuring your workers are equipped with both the foundational access skills and the rescue-readiness required for working at height under the WHS Regulation.

Who Is This Package For?

This 2-day package is suitable for anyone who works at height and needs both a foundational qualification and rescue capability, including but not limited to:

  • Construction workers and tradespeople

  • Roofers and solar installers

  • Telecommunication riggers and technicians

  • Industrial maintenance personnel

  • Facility and building maintenance workers

  • Scaffolders and riggers

  • Entertainment riggers and event crew

  • Rope access technicians

  • Mining workers

  • Supervisors and safety personnel responsible for work-at-height and rescue planning

Whether you're entering the industry for the first time, need both qualifications for site access, or want to build a genuine height-rescue capability within your team, this package delivers the practical knowledge and hands-on experience needed across both disciplines.

Unlike classroom-only training, our hands-on approach ensures students develop and demonstrate practical skills in realistic work-at-height and rescue scenarios under the guidance of experienced industry professionals.

Our trainers are active practitioners with extensive experience across aviation, telecommunications, construction, industrial maintenance, entertainment rigging and work-at-height safety. Train with professionals who don't just teach the industry - they work in it.

Successful participants will receive nationally recognised Statements of Attainment for both RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights and PUASAR022 – Participate in a Rescue Operation.

No GST applies to this nationally recognised training.
